Cane Creek eeSILK Plus Carbon Seatpost

Cane Creek introduces the eeSilk+, a new addition to their eeSilk lineup that offers more travel. The eeSilk+ is a suspension seatpost designed to significantly dampen the ride over gravel or mixed-surface roads, with 35mm of travel. Similar to the 20mm travel eeSilk seatpost, the eeSilk+ is available in both alloy and carbon variants, with 27.2 and 31.6mm diameter options.

The new eeSilk+ and eeSilk+ Carbon are performance suspension seatposts that aim to provide increased comfort and compliance to any bike without adding unnecessary weight. These posts are intended to enhance long gravel rides by reducing the vibrations transmitted from the surface to the rider, and can be tuned to the rider's weight through a simple external elastomer change.

The alloy eeSilk+ weighs less than 381g, while the carbon version weighs less than 335g. The eeSilk+ features a longer seatpost length of 387mm, while the eeSilk+ Carbon comes with a 362mm length. The carbon post also shares the same titanium hardware and custom titanium thumbwheel as the eeSilk Carbon.

The eeSilk+ Carbon is designed to be a great enhancement for gravel or mixed-surface bikes, as it reduces the chatter transmitted from the surface to the rider and can be tuned to the rider's weight through a simple elastomer change.

The eeSilk+ offers up to 35mm of travel, adding comfort and compliance to gravel and mixed-surface rides without unnecessarily increasing the bike's weight. The parallel linkage technology ensures the seatpost stays in the direct path of the natural travel of the rear wheel, so as a bump lifts the back of the bicycle, the rear wheel pushes up and forward into the rider.

The eeSilk+ seatpost can be tuned for different rider weights and riding styles by selecting the appropriate elastomer. It is shipped with a Medium elastomer installed, and Extra Soft, Soft, Firm, and Extra Firm elastomers are sold separately to allow for customization.

The eeSilk+ Carbon has a weight of 323g, an offset of 12mm, and a post length of 362mm. It is designed to support a maximum rider weight of 113kg.
